Passport Day 2023
Passport Services
On Saturday April 1st, we will host a “Passport Saturday” in the Clerk’s from 8am to 12pm
Way back in 2018 "Flat Tammie" (as Superior Court Clerk) became a passport acceptance facility. While working at the passport window, she was heard saying, “We LOVE providing passport services to the citizens of Chatham County...heck we even take the picture on site!”
Flat Tammie will be once again in attendance for photo ops...and she can’t wait to see you!
Official announcement from the Office of the Clerk:
Chatham County Superior Court Clerk Tammie Mosley will host a special "Passport Day" on Saturday, April 1st to offer a convenient way for applicants and their children to apply for the first time or renew their passports.
The passports service is a partnership of the U.S. State Department, Chatham County and her office in what was a departure from the traditional U.S. Post Office program.
It represented an expansion to serve Chatham County residents, and those from surrounding counties, fulfilling a goal since she became clerk in January 2017.
Mosley said her office sees a lot of students from Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah State University and Georgia Southern University who are traveling to study abroad.
It allows her staff to process passport applications and renewals without an appointment required at post offices.
